life on the fast track
After moving mom to the convalescent home and having observed for a week, my sister and I have agreed that we don't want to leave her there. My life hasn't had that much "excitement" in a long time; almost everyday in the past few days I was greeted with a piece of news that would drive my blood pressure up, with the last piece being her running a temperature of 102 and sent to the ER. I am taking her home today.

Blessed that you and your mom are for having someone like Emily who don't take her job as just a job, but willing to love.
Among all the domestic helpers I had before, there's not many who can do this.
She makes it possible for us to take mom home.
