I've been thinking about "lukewarm," being passionate about Christ and His cause this past week. In my view, many of us Christians are "faithful" (re: Chris Tomokiyo's definition of the word from his recent sermon) that we "show up" & we serve. BUT we as A GROUP lack PASSION ...
I was so motivated by Joe when he shared w/ me last night about some ESL students accepted Christ at the event yesterday. I could sense his excitment even tho' he sounded half-dead from a long day. I woke up this morning with much envy and decided to pray for "harvest-reaping" opportunities. Within 20 min. one of my 40-day P & R targets called me. I was able to pray for her over the phone & we'll have lunch tomorrow! Keep praying and things will happen!
