Palm Sunday

It's about the donkey. I mean today's sermon on the Triumphal Entry of Jesus is about his ride on the donkey being a symbol of humility and peace. (That should have answered the question I raised in my previous blog post.)

In a work environment where diligence doesn't necessarily seem to be rewarded, it's easy to want to simply get by and lose sight of why I'm doing what I'm doing. The lyric of the song God of Justice sung during worship put me back in focus:

To act justly every day

Loving mercy in every way

Walking humbly before You God

God is good. I felt so not ready for the worship service today as I was almost near Chinatown on the freeway. Sensing how spiritually famished I probably was, I prayed that I would sense His Presence.

My prayer was answered. I had a catharsis.
